Ganpatipule Temple

The temple is said to be an ancient pilgrim center. It is said that the temple has a naturally formed Ganesha idol which is also called as Swayambhoo. On his way to the jungle he slipped upon a naturally formed idol of Ganesha. He felt that it is a good omen and built a temple there. This story spread in many parts of state ans slowly the temple became one o the prime destination for people to offer prayer to Lord Ganesha. Every day prayers are performed in Ganpatipule Temple. Many changes were done in the temple to make it more large so that it can accommodate the large number of devotees.

The temple become more lively during Ganesha Chaturthi festival. During this time the temple become busy with numerous religious activities. Various celebrations are held for five days. These days the temple is packed by devotees from many parts of the state. Ganpatipule Temple has a very beautiful idol of Lord Ganesha. The temple has very tall idol and is placed in such a manner so that one can get to see the idol even from a distance. Ganpatipule Temple is a wonderful temple to visit. Each year millions of devotees come here to offer prayer. With beautiful beach located in the village it has become a one of the best place in the state to enjoy picnic.
